Neural Auditory Response Demo

The NeuroSpeech Player is an interactive tool that visualizes how the human brain processes speech sounds. The top panel displays a brain scan from a participant with a 256-channel electrocorticography (ECoG) grid, which was implanted as part of epilepsy treatment. Each electrode on the grid captures brain activity in response to speech.

The bottom panel presents a spectrogram, a visual representation of sound. It can display live input from a microphone or pre-recorded sounds. The spectrogram breaks sound down into its frequencies, with low pitches at the bottom and high pitches at the top, while also showing how these frequencies change over time from left to right.
